How a batch gets released
- Synthesis by solid-phase peptide chemistry, then cleavage and preparative purification.
- Reverse-phase HPLC at 220 nm establishes purity by peak area against the main component.
- Mass spectrometry confirms molecular weight matches the expected sequence.
- Water content, residual solvent and bacterial endotoxin are measured on the finished powder.
- Vials are filled, sealed under inert gas, and the certificate is published to this site under the lot number printed on the label.
Analytical work is carried out by an independent contract laboratory. Retained samples are held for two years so any result can be re-checked.

What can these materials be used for?
Laboratory research only — in vitro work and analytical reference use by qualified personnel in an appropriate facility. They are not drugs, supplements, food or cosmetics, and they are not intended for human or veterinary use, diagnosis or treatment. By ordering, you confirm you are a research professional and will use them accordingly.
How is purity measured, and what does 99% mean?
Purity is reported as peak area percentage by reverse-phase HPLC at 220 nm — the main peak measured against everything else the detector sees. Identity is confirmed separately by mass spectrometry. A batch below 99% is not released for sale.
Is the certificate specific to my vial?
Yes. Every certificate is tied to a single synthesis lot, and the lot number on your label is the one you search here. We do not publish a representative certificate and reuse it across production runs.
How should material be stored on arrival?
Keep sealed lyophilised vials at 2–8 °C, protected from light. For storage beyond a few months, −20 °C is better. Once reconstituted, stability drops considerably and depends on the compound and buffer — the stability notes on each product record give the specifics.
How is it shipped?
Cold, in insulated packaging with gel packs, tracked, and dispatched the next business day on orders placed before 2pm CT. We ship to research institutions and businesses; some jurisdictions restrict certain compounds and we will tell you before charging.
Something arrived damaged or reads differently than the certificate.
Email the lot number and photographs within seven days. We hold a retained sample from every batch, so we can re-run the analysis and replace or refund based on what it shows.
